Each high school receives a grant annually to address teen health and wellness issues. HeadsUp is pleased to be able to support the Wellness Centers at each high school with funding for a Wellness Associate. Additionally, we provide funding for supplies and materials. 

The Wellness centers offer a variety of mental health services including 1:1 counseling, group counseling, as well as case management. Students can self-refer for short-term, school-based services via QR codes posted around the campus. In addition, they provide a safe, calming physical space in the center when needed. Students can use "Brain Break" passes for short 10-15 minute periods to help self-regulate and de-stress in the Wellness Center. If students require support beyond the drop-in space, they will be connected to a therapist or school counselor.
